Data Directory
All subdirectories and files of the data directory are displayed here. The data directory is set in the configuration file of the agent (FileSystemRoot=…).
The data directory context menus:
A click with the right mouse key on an entry menu in the control center displays a context menu containing options for the respective entry.
The following menu items are available for the entry ‘
Data directory
’ in the control center:
- New folder
- A new folder is created in the data directory (top level).
- Transfer local file
- A selected file can be copied into the data directory (top level).
- Refresh
- The contents of the data directory are read again and displayed.
The following menu items are available for sub-directories of the Data directory
in the control center:
- New folder
- A new folder is created in the corresponding sub-directory. A name for the new folder has to be specified.
- Remove folder
- The selected folder is removed after a security query. The folder has to be empty.
- Delete content
- All files are deleted from the corresponding sub-directory after a security query. If there are further sub-directories in this sub-directory, they have to be empty.
- Transfer local file
- A selected file can be copied into the sub-directory.
- Refresh
- The contents of the sub-directory are read again and displayed.
The following menu items are available for a file of the Data directory
or a subdirectory in the control center:
- Save locally as
- The selected file is saved on the local system in a specified location. Specify a name.
- Display
- The contents of the respective file are displayed. This option is not available if the file is in the agent's working directory.
- Edit
- The contents of the respective file are displayed and can be edited. This option is not available if the file is in the agent's working directory.
- Delete
- The respective file is deleted after a security query.
