LDAP
To set up the LDAP security, the dialog is expanded with the appropriate elements:

- The input fields for the server, login and Base-DN are displayed. An administrator account name must be given to access the directory.
- By clicking on ‘Test’ the tree is filled and can be used to select the
Base-DN and maybe the filter. The Base-DN is the root of the tree
being searched for the user. The filter determines the attribute
which will be used for the name.
In the example all users and groups beneath the ‘Users’ subtree are displayed.
A right mouse click on it fills the right list. After selecting a user in the tree, the list on the right is updated accordingly.
For logon the sAMAccountName should be used which is the short username. It can be selected by a click on the attribute. The part “#user#” will be replaced by the given username.
