共有メモリ クッションは、共有メモリ領域の一部です。その機能は、サーバーでの短期の高需要に対応することです。エンタープライズ サーバー インスタンスが起動された際は、共有メモリ クッションは使用不能です。着信クライアント要求では使用されません。これは、応答をクライアントに戻す必要がある際、応答を処理するための十分な空きメモリが主要領域にない場合にのみ使用されます。
共有メモリ クッションも、それぞれ 4KB のページで測定されます。共有メモリ クッションは、共有メモリ領域のサイズの 10% に設定します。
