Recovery Log File Records

You specify the name of the recovery log file using the /l option (basic logging) or /ltf (advanced logging), for example:

Basic logging:

fs /d dbase.ref /l logfilename

Advanced logging:

fs /d dbase.ref /ltf logtrans.dat

You can only have one recovery log file record in a database reference file.

You can specify the following for a recovery log file record:

  • The point at which the Fileshare Server displays a warning when the drive containing the log file is becoming full (use the /p option)
  • How often the log file is flushed to disk (use the /lc option) (basic logging only)
  • Deletion of the record (use the /e option)
