SYSMSG Parameters
Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and
applies only to Windows platforms.
- Name
- Select an existing field to be the system message field, or select:
*No - Do not display system messages.
*Yes or *SYSMSG - Display messages on last line of the screen if space is available. If the last line is not available, AMB paints a default field in which message appears in the generated screen; this field does not appear on the painted screen.
- Row
- Type the row number of the system message field. This option is valid only when you set Name to *Yes.
- Column
- Type the starting column number of the system message field. This option is valid only when you set Name to *Yes. The field length of the system message field can be from 40 to 70 characters, or up to 131 characters for MOD5 screens.
