View and Edit a CICS SNT
Use this page to view information about the SNT you selected from the Users page. You can view information about the SNT, and change various parameters of the SNT.

Click this to save changes you have made to the page and refresh the page. You see this button only if you have permission to edit the SNT.
- Name

Shows the name for this SNT.
- Description
-
Specify a short description for this SNT.
- Password
-
Specify the password for this user. The maximum number of characters is 8.
- Repeat PW
-
Specify the password again, if you are changing the password, to ensure that it has been entered correctly.
- Upper Case
-
Check this to force the password into upper case.
- Operator ID
-
Specify an operator ID. This is a three-character code that identifies the user to applications.
- Priority
-
Specify the operator priority for transactions. Defaults to 0 (zero). Operator priority is one factor in determining a transaction's execution priority, which is the sum of:
- Terminal priority
- Transaction priority
- Operator priority (this field)
The sum cannot be greater than 255.
- Timeout

Specify the maximum interval in minutes since the last activity of an ESMAC or TN3270 client before the user ID is automatically logged off. The default value is 0, meaning no timeout. This value overrides ID Timeout on the SIT page.
Note: Note that Terminal timeouts (SIT parameter or user ID parameter) must be less than 16 hours. - Group Prefix

Do not use. The group prefix is an Mainframe Express feature that gives developers control over resource groups with a specific name prefix.
- Oper Class

Specify a value for the operator class, which is normally used for message routing but can be used for any user/application relationship.
- Resource Keys

- On - enables all the resource keys
- Off - disables all the resource keys

Check any of the boxes 1 through 24 to activate that resource key.
- Security Keys

- On - enables all the security keys
- Off - disables all the security keys
- 1 - 64
- Check any of the boxes 1 through 64 to activate that security key.
- Surrogate Keys

- Choose a setting to apply to all the surrogate keys:
- On - enables all the surrogate keys
- Off - disables all the surrogate keys

Check any of the boxes 1 through 24 to activate that surrogate key.
- JCL Submit

Check this to enable this user to submit JCL jobs via the cassub utility.
- ES Security

Check this for the user ID mfuser to enable ESMAC security.
- ESMAC Access

Check this to enable the user to access the main ESMAC screens. If unchecked, the user will only be able to view summary server information and environment variables.

Choose what type of access this user can have to a resource of this type:
- Rd - sets the item to read access
