Specifying the Set Handler

This section provides information on how to specify the set handler for a subject area.

Note:
Before you can specify the set handler for a subject area that is not the base version of a hierarchy, you must specify the handler for all preceding subject areas in the hierarchy.
  1. Open the subject area for which you want to specify a set handler.
  2. On the Customized Controller Registration panel, type or select the set handler you want to use in the Set handler class box. You can specify the set handler only if the subject area is in the state Initialized or Suspended. For details, see Changing Subject Area States

  3. Click the Save icon in the Metability toolbar to save your changes. The Install Sets in Hierarchy dialog box is displayed.

  4. Click Yes to apply the set handler to all succeeding subject areas in the hierarchy.

    Or

    Click No to apply the set handler only to the current subject area.
