Using the ALLPARMS Command

Access the Statement Detail panel and utilize the ALLPARMS command to view a comprehensive list of parameters associated with a specific statement type. This command will provide you with detailed information about all the parameters relevant to the selected statement type, allowing for a thorough understanding of its configuration and functionality.

Use the ALLPARMS command on a Statement Detail panel to display all the parameters for a statement type.

To display all the parameters for a statement type

  1. From the Edit Reformatter Settings panel, choose the JCL statement type:

  4. Use the selection line commands (I, D, M, B, and A) to refine the list of parameters.
    Note:
    • Some statement types do not have any parameters.
    For the JCL statements:
    CNTL, COMMAND, ELSE, ENDCNTL, ENDIF, IF, PEND
    For the IDCAMS statements:
    DEFINE, DO, ELSE, END, IF, SET
    For the JES2 statements:
    MESSAGE, NETACCT, NOTIFY, PRIORITY, ROUTE, XEQ
    For the JES3 statements:
    ENDDATASET, ENDPROCESS, OPERATOR, PROCESS, ROUTE_XEQ
    • For the SET and PROC parameters in the JCL statement type, PRO/JCL displays the string “NEWPARM” in the Parameter section of the panel. These two parameters contain no predefined sub-parameters; users define their own parameters.
