FTP コマンドの索引

APPEND コマンドは、ファイルを FTP サーバに送信し、それを現在のサーバファイルに追加します。既存のサーバファイルがない場合は、このコマンドを実行すると、PUT コマンドと同じように機能し、サーバに新規のファイルを作成します。

<クライアントファイル>

FTP サーバに送信する PC ファイルを指定します。

to <サーバファイル>

PC ファイルを追加するサーバファイルを指定します。このオプションを省略すると、PC ファイルの内容は、PC ファイルと同じ名前を持つサーバファイルに追加されます。指定されたサーバファイルがない場合は、新たに作成されます。キーワード TO は省略してもかまいません。

例

以下のコマンドは、PC ファイルを同じ名前のサーバファイルに追加します。

APPEND WHATSNEW.DOC

このコマンドは、PC ファイルを指定さたサーバファイルに追加します。

APPEND WHATSNEW.DOC TO DOCUMENT.TXT
