To Associate a Listener with a Service

Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
  1. Click Details in the Objects column for the server that owns the service that you want to associate the listener with.
  2. Click Edit in the Operation column of the row containing the service that you want to associate the listener with.
  3. In Available Listeners click the service listener that you want to associate with the service.
  4. Click Add.

The Directory Server associates the listener with the service immediately and redisplays the service table.

  5. If you want to associate another listener with this service, repeat steps 3 through 5.
Note: A service must always have at least one listener associated with it.
