User Guide

Zeke is used to define and maintain the database of events (that is, computer processes) that run in your data center.

Zeke automates your production workload by dynamically scheduling and dispatching events. It monitors all aspects of your processing schedule to optimize performance and efficiency, while also providing you with data processing control and flexibility.

Zeke is supported on z/OS and VSE operating systems and extends its functions to many other distributed platforms.

OASIS - Open Architecture System Integration Solution - is the subsystem that provides the common functions for your enterprise workload management 'Z' products.

OASIS/Distributed Management Server (DMS) enables Zeke to communicate with other Zekes running on different systems or platforms, as well as enabling cross-platform scheduling (see Cross-platform Schedule Management).

More details about Zeke can be found in the Getting Started section.
